Software Disclaimer & Component Removal Notice
End users should be aware that forced removal of targeted components or software can, in some cases, create unwanted or undesirable side effects such as inability to connect to the Internet or a change in internet settings. We recommend that you use your own judgment when accessing risks and removing software. When available end users should make use of the standard uninstall procedures provided with a software. Ultimately end users are responsible for the software running on their own machines.
END-USER-LICENSE AGREEMENTS (EULA)
It is also important for end users to understand and abide by the End-User-License-Agreements provided by the software developers of any applications on your computer, which may be affected by the removal of any portion of their software.
We do not condone, support, nor endorse the use of any software application after the targeted components that were bundled with said application are removed. We also hold that to do so may not only be a violation of the applicable EULA, it could be considered illegal and/or unethical. As a result, we strongly recommend that you uninstall these programs, as this may be a condition of their continued use.
For example, if you are using a file sharing program (e.g. “Kazaa”) that is sponsored by a particular advertising software that program may no longer function if you remove the bundled components. This should be clearly stated in the End-User-License-Agreement you executed with the software author at time of download.
Privacy Policy
We at SQLHA take your privacy very seriously and we are committed to enabling you to feel secure and in control of your personal information and privacy.
Our Privacy Guarantee
Please rest assured that we will never sell or otherwise disclose your name, e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information to any third parties.
Like many companies, we sometimes retain third parties to provide technical services. Before permitting these companies to work on our systems, we require them to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Because we are a commercial entity, the possibility of an acquisition by another company exists. If such an acquisition ever occurs, we will require the acquiring company to adhere to our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy appears below:
1. Collection and Use of Information
SQLHA may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. All of this information resides in a Profiles Database, which enables SQLHA to provide its services. SQLHA is the sole owner of all personally identifiable information collected through our website.
Additionally, SQLHA may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested.
SQLHA uses the information it collects for three general purposes: (a) to improve our website and better serve your needs and interests; (b) to provide us with statistics about our visitors’ demographic composition; and (c) to customize, target, and distribute e-mail newsletters and e-mail advertising to you.
2. Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
SQLHA will never sell or otherwise disclose your name, e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information to any third parties except when such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to subpoenas and court orders, or otherwise comply with the law or legal process; (b) protect or defend the rights or property of SQLHA or others; (c) enforce the Terms of Service governing this website; (d) respond to claims that the contents of any communications violate the rights of others; and (e) enable third parties, such as Internet Service Providers, to provide services to SQLHA (these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to assist SQLHA).
In the unlikely event that we are required by subpoena or other such legal order to disclose your personal information, we will notify you, and request a nondisclosure agreement or try to obtain a protective order on your behalf before making the requisite disclosure.
3. Disclosure of Aggregated Data
SQLHA may provide aggregated demographic data regarding our website and its visitors to third parties, such as advertisers, but this aggregated data does not include any personally identifying information. Advertisers use this information to decide whether to purchase and how to target their advertising. Only SQLHA distributes advertising, so your personally identifiable information remains undisclosed to third parties despite the targeting of their advertising. SQLHA also may provide aggregated clickstream data to inform advertisers as to the number of people who viewed and clicked on their advertisement.
4. Cookies
SQLHA may place and access cookies on your computer to provide you with customization options. For example, these cookies may enable you log into a private section of the website having to type in your e-mail address.
5. Security
In certain areas of this website, SQLHA may use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions, such as credit card information.
6. Acquisition
Because SQLHA is commercial entity, the possibility of an acquisition by another company exists. If such an acquisition ever occurs, we will require the acquiring company to adhere to the very same privacy guarantee stated above.
7. Spamming
SQLHA strongly opposes the practice of “spamming,” the sending of unsolicited commercial e-mail messages. If you feel that you have received spam from a third party affiliated with or connected to SQLHA, please contact us via the link found on the website.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
SQLHA may amend this policy from time to time. If SQLHA makes any substantial changes in the way it uses your personal information, it will notify you via e-mail, if you have provided us with your e-mail address via this website. If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, please contact us via the link found on the website.
